The Gorilla is located in Copenhagen’s Meatpacking District, which is home to many trendy restaurants. This one, however, stands out from afar and is pleasantly surprising in all respects. The furnishings are consistent – in line with the ambiance of a former butcher’s – and you are left astonished at everything that can be done with the site of a slaughterhouse. What's even more astonishing is everything that the chefs conjure up if you opt for the surprise menu with 10 or 15 small courses. The combination of the dishes works in an extremely accurate way and evokes a degree of elegance which turns every meal into a little culinary firework.
